We are excited to welcome Angel to the RUNColumbus team. Angel began running just a few months ago. She says, “In the last two years, I’ve completely changed my lifestyle and have focused solely on my diet and exercise. I walk an avg of 7-10 miles a day, and in November, I signed up for my first race, the New Albany 4-Miler. I instantly fell in love with the excitement of the race and with what my body could do. I started doing a couch to 5k app the very next week. I’ve been successful with the app and am halfway through the program. I’m very self-competitive and felt this series was a perfect fit for me and great motivation to ensure I get at least 6 (I already signed up for a few) races and challenge myself to complete even more. I’m still in the walking/jogging stage and looking forward to meeting others in the group as I start my running journey.”
