There’s a lot of racing to do before our post-season awards celebration on Wednesday, December 7, at 5:30 p.m. at 101 Beer Kitchen Polaris but we are excited to announce the 2022 season awards. Everyone who completes a minimum of six series races receives an award. The deadline to join the 2022 RUNColumbus team is May 31. Register Now
All RUNColumbus team members who complete a minimum of six series races will receive a commemorative medal.
Runners who complete 12 series races will receive a long-sleeve Sports-Tek shirt that includes the 2022 series races on the back.
Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Great Grandmasters, and Youth division winners, as well as all Age Group winners will receive this smart-looking embroidered hat just in time for winter running.
Our Overall Male and Female winners will receive a $100 Columbus Running Company gift card. Masters, Grandmasters, Great Grandmasters, and Youth male and female top finishers will receive a $50 gift card to CRC.
Spirit of RUNColumbus Award: A Special Peer-Selected Award
Here at RUNColumbus, we are passionate about hosting a competitive point-based race series that welcomes and celebrates all runners. With this in mind, we are proud to introduce the Spirit of RUNColumbus Award. In November, RUNColumbus team members will vote on the teammate they believe best exemplifies the following qualities. The honoree will be announced at the December 7 awards celebration.
- Competitive | The individual challenges him/herself to train and race to be “their best.”
- Welcoming | The individual is friendly and intentional about meeting fellow teammates.
- Encouraging | The individual is supportive of fellow teammates and celebrates their accomplishments.
