Nutrition for Endurance Athletes

Join us for a free community workshop for runners, about runners, and by runnersNutrition for Endurance Athletes on Sunday, March 5, 4 p.m. at CrossFit Expedition presented by the RUNColumbus Race Series, CrossFit Expedition, and the Columbus Eastside Running Club.

Runner, CrossFit athlete and coach, and Sports Nutritionist Dr. Amy Whitson will offer attendees guiding principles for making nutritious food choices to enhance and sustain performance. Topics will include fueling before, during, and after the run and providing tips for avoiding those dreaded bathroom emergencies in the middle of a race.

We will also hear from local runners and RUNColumbus Athletes Sarah and Michele on their decision to follow a plant-based diet. Sarah and Michele will share why they switched to a plant-based diet, the challenges, and the impact on running.

A Q&A session will follow.
