The 10th Annual Fallen 15 4 Miler in Powell was more than a race—it was a tribute. As runners and walkers gathered to mark the start of Memorial Day weekend, they were reminded of the true meaning behind the holiday: honoring the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Each of the fallen heroes honored over the past decade had their name read aloud before the race, creating a solemn and powerful atmosphere. Many families were in attendance, sharing photographs, mementos, and stories that made the memories of their loved ones come alive for all who participated. Each race shirt displayed the names of the fallen.
