Welcome back to our RUNColumbus teammate Allison! Allison is one of our athletes who travels from outside of Central Ohio to participate in the race series. Of the 2023 Season, Allison notes: “The positivity from everyone is always great, even for those of us who are consistently slower. It makes it feel ok to be slower.” Allison enjoys running trails with the Columbus Westside Running Club.

How many years have you been running? Since high school soccer, about 17 years.
What are your preferred running shoes? Brooks Adrenaline on the road and Brooks Calderas on trails
What’s your favorite pre-race meal or beverage? Cereal and sometimes Swedish Fish on the drive
What’s your favorite post-race meal or beverage? McDonald’s on the drive home. 2 McDoubles, a small fry, and medium Diet Coke. Almost always from the McDonald’s at 70 and 42.
What’s your favorite race distance? Half on trails, 10 miles on the road
