Wind gusts and steady snow flurries set the tone for this year’s Timbuk Winter Run Challenge at Timbuk Tree Farm in Granville — a true test of grit across the 22K, 11K, and 5K distances, all in support of the Licking County 4-H Youth Development Program.
Despite the blustery conditions, RUNColumbus athletes delivered standout performances:
- 22K: Phil and Helen each earned 3rd Overall finishes, with Emma (20–29) and Fern (30–39) leading their age groups.
- 11K: Tony claimed 1st Overall and Patrick 3rd Overall, while Maureen (40–49) and Tracy (60–69) topped their divisions.
- 5K: Austin (30–39), Todd (50–59), Cathleen (60–69), and Barbara (70+) represented across the decades.
Wind. Flurries. Winter footing. And still — strong racing and even stronger community.
