Meet RUNColumbus team member Tami White. Tami and her husband Matt are empty nesters. They have three adult children (Ceta, Alan, and Ryan) and three granddaughters (Aubree-4; Fujika -8 and Minoka-4), Matt and Tami also have three furbabies—Marley and Daisy are dogs and Ozzy is a cat.
Why/when did you start running? When I was about 40 – I did it to lose weight by walking then running. I like to challenge myself, however, I have had quite a few injuries.
What is your favorite aspect(s) of running? That I can do it alone and I am only running to make myself happy. No one else.
What excites you about being part of the RUNColumbus Race Series and Team? The support and motivation from other runners. I am excited to get moving since I have lacked motivation lately.
