What a gorgeous morning at Wolfe Park — blue skies, perfect running temps, and fast times all around for the Columbus Cookie 10K & 5K!
As Race #2 of the Challenger Series, the 10K brought the competition — and Team RUNColumbus answered. Starting at the very top, Amy led the way, finishing 1st Overall among all finishers in a dominant performance. On the men’s side, Phil M. and Kyle followed with 2nd and 3rd Overall, respectively, setting the tone early and often.
And then came the age group sweep — one strong performance after another. Age group winners (in order) included:
- Kara (15–19)
- David (40–44)
- Amy Kay (45–49)
- Pat (50–54)
- Julie (50–54)
- Marla (55–59)
- George (55–59)
- Johnetta (60–64)
- Steve (60–64)
- Tracy (65–69)
- Sue (65–69)
- Fred (70–74)
- Barbara (70–74)
- Sue (75–79)
In the 5K, the momentum continued with Tracey winning her 50–54 age group and Elizabeth F. claiming the 35–39 division.
From overall podium finishes to age group victories across multiple decades, it was a strong statement performance for Team RUNColumbus on a picture-perfect morning.
And we’re just getting started.
Tomorrow kicks off March in a big way with the Scioto Miles in the morning — followed by the 2026 Season Kickoff & Expo beginning at 2 p.m. Let’s carry this energy forward and keep building momentum together.
