Some race mornings are about times and results.
Others are about something deeper.
Today’s Bailey’s Clubhouse 5K was one of those mornings as the RUNColumbus community came together to support teammates and co-race directors John French and Clare Malbone and a cause that is deeply important to them.
From the earliest arrivals to the final finishers, the spirit of the morning was clear. Runners, walkers, families, and volunteers gathered not just to cover three miles, but to stand alongside two members of our community who turned their passion into an event designed to make a difference.
Events like the Bailey’s Clubhouse 5K remind us why the local running community is so special. When one of us steps forward with a vision to serve others, the community shows up.
And show up they did.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this inaugural event. And congratulations to John and Clare for creating something meaningful that will continue to impact lives in the years ahead.
