2026 RUNColumbus Awards: More Than a Medal

As we reach the halfway point of the 2026 RUNColumbus Race Series, we are excited to unveil this year’s awards and the meaning behind them.

This is our fifth anniversary season, and we wanted the 2026 awards to reflect more than finish lines and final standings. The medal and add-on medallions were designed to serve as a visual reminder of a season earned — the miles completed, the hard days overcome, the friendships formed, the courage to keep showing up, and the race day community that makes RUNColumbus what it is.

The 2026 finisher medal features the Columbus skyline, road and trail imagery, a bold FINISHER banner, and five stars representing our fifth anniversary. New add-on medallions help tell the fuller story of each team member’s season through race challenges, mileage challenges, series challenges, championship honors, and special honors.

To become awards eligible, team members must complete a minimum of six RUNColumbus Series races during the season. From there, every additional race, mile, challenge, and standout performance adds to the story.

We will come together to recognize the 2026 season on Sunday, December 6, at The Golf Club at Little Turtle. It will be a time to celebrate not only results, but the perseverance, commitment, and community that carried us through the year.

We are also grateful for the continued support of BSN Sports Columbus, who helps bring our awards season to life with great apparel and gear. Their support includes the traditional championship jackets presented to the top male and female in the Challenger Series, Ultimate Endurance, and, new this year, the Trail Series.
