Meet RUNColumbus team member Terri Landis. Terri is married to Brian Landis who is getting into walking 5K’s when he can. They have three dogs—Hayley is a 13-year old black lab, George is a 4-year old coonhound mix and Ms. Audrey Mae is a 9-week old husky (she will be Terri’s running buddy once she is able to).
Why/when did you start running? I started power walking with my dad after he had a heart attack and then it went into running. That was when I was in college. My dad still power walks 3-4 times a week at the young age of 74!
What is your favorite aspect(s) of running? I running by myself in the early morning! It’s a great way to wake up, get my day going, and sort out the workday in my mind! Love it!!
What excites you about being part of the RUNColumbus Race Series and Team? The competition for sure! I love doing races because I am also so competitive with myself and love placing in my age group so this will make me participate in some races that I have never done. I am hoping to get all the races done.
