How was NovaCare impacted by the pandemic, and Is business back to “normal?” Like most health care facilities, our patient volume decreased during the start of COVID-19 and throughout the second wave. However, we took – and continue to take – extensive preventative measures that are guided by the CDC, state, and local government to protect patients while in our center. From screening protocols to hand hygiene and disinfecting to masks, the health of our patients and staff is our top priority. We also introduced our telerehab program during the pandemic which allowed us to virtually connect with our patients from the comfort of their homes so as to not to interrupt their treatment. Today, we are back to our pre-COVID patient volume.⠀

What services are offered?⠀In addition to orthopedic physical and occupational therapy, we offer sports medicine (including running analysis and customized orthotics), vestibular/concussion rehabilitation, pelvic floor (both women and men), work health services for industrial athletes, Recovery and Reconditioning program for post-COVID as well as dry needling and personalized blood flow restriction training.⠀
