What a memorable day at the inaugural Franklinton 10 Miler and 5K! First and foremost, our thoughts are with our teammate Amy, who is resting and recovering after a scary dehydration episode during the race. In true runner fashion, Amy still managed to stop her watch before receiving care—and took home an age group win. We’re wishing her a speedy and smooth recovery!
A huge shoutout to Sean, Maureen, and Kathy, who volunteered with Team Heart & Sole for the very first time. Kathy summed it up best: “It was wonderful! I can’t wait to do it again.” We’re so grateful to them, and to all the amazing team members who stepped up to volunteer on the course and at the finish line—you helped make this race possible!
