Team RUNColumbus packed a lot into one weekend with three very different race experiences: the CRC Mile Dash, the Darby Creek Trail Run 5K & 10K, and the Run Wild 5K.
The weekend kicked off with fast feet at the CRC Mile Dash, where one mile brought plenty of energy and strong performances. Joe led the way by winning the Open Division, while Open Division age group winners included Alli in 20–29, Billur in 40–49, Julie in 50–59, and Noemi in 60–69. In the Elite Division, Brian K. won the Masters Division, and Clare won the 50–59 age group.
Team RUNColumbus also took on the trails at the Darby Creek Trail Run 5K & 10K, a first-time race on the RUNColumbus schedule. In the 10K, age group winners included Jason in 40–49, Patrick and Maria in 50–59, and Fred and Barbara in 70+. In the 5K, congratulations to Danielle in 40–49, Shana in 50–59, Karla in 60–69, and Sue in 70+.
Then on Sunday, teammates went a little wild at the Run Wild 5K, racing through the Columbus Zoo and finishing inside Zoombezi Bay. Congratulations to Billur, who finished 3rd overall, along with age group winners Kirstyn in 30–39, Munir in 40–49, and Barbara in 70+.
From a fast mile to trail miles to zoo miles, it was another weekend full of variety, strong racing, and shared experiences.
Congratulations to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, and represented Team RUNColumbus so well.
Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
