  • What role(s) have you fulfilled as a volunteer? I’ve been involved in every aspect of this race from logistics, to fund raising, race day planning, organizing the vendor area, kids activities, etc.  In recent years I’ve been responsible for the marketing campaign.
  • Why do you volunteer? I remain part of the race planning committee because I love this race.  I love my fellow committee members, their passion and their unwavering desire to see this race succeed and give back to the community as much as possible.
  • What advice would you give someone who may be thinking about volunteering?   Just do it!  Even if you don’t know what you want to do or how you can contribute you’ll be put to great use and the you’ll never have a more fulfilling experience.
