Diverse Race Distances
The Challenger Series features races from 1 Mile to the half marathon. This variety ensures that all athletes can find events that match their strengths and challenge their limits.
Representative Field Sizes
Race field sizes mirror the full RUNColumbus Race Series, ranging from less than 350 to over 1,000 participants. This diversity in race sizes guarantees a dynamic and competitive environment.
Full Series Benefits
Participants in the Challenger Series enjoy all the benefits and opportunities available to athletes in the full series. This includes access to exclusive events, awards, and community engagement initiatives.
2026 Challenger Series
As a mini-series within the full RUNColumbus Race Series, the Challenger Series features 12 key races and distances that level the playing field. To contend for Grand, Division, and Age Group titles, athletes must complete six of these 12 designated events. This format increases the likelihood of direct competition while preserving flexibility in race selection.
