Today’s Diabetes Dash 5K was about more than the miles.
This event supports Breakthrough T1D – Central Ohio Chapter and helps grow a scholarship fund for Westerville City School graduating seniors living with Type 1 diabetes. That made it especially meaningful for Team RUNColumbus as we celebrated our teammate Nikki, who lives with Type 1 diabetes and reminds us that every race has a story.
It was also a morning full of moments worth cheering. We welcomed back our friend Christi after knee replacement, celebrated Amanda’s PR, and watched teammates show up with the kind of encouragement that makes race mornings special.
Congratulations to Clare, who finished 2nd overall, and to age group winners Carolyn, Maria, Polly, and Barbara.
A meaningful cause. A strong team showing. And another morning of moving together with purpose.
