The London Ohio Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K delivered exactly what runners hope for on race morning: cool temperatures, crisp spring air, and ideal conditions for fast times.
Team RUNColumbus took full advantage.
Several teammates reported personal records in the Half Marathon, including Alex, Alli, Danielle, Amy, and Kathy, a testament to the consistent training many athletes have been putting in as the spring racing season heats up.
Meanwhile, three teammates took on the ultimate challenge of the day—the Full Marathon. Congratulations to George, Noemi, and Tandra for crossing the finish line after 26.2 miles of determination and perseverance.
The morning also included a special recognition for Missy, who was honored as a Legacy Participant, having completed every London race since the event’s inaugural year in 2021. Six races, six finishes—an impressive accomplishment and a great example of dedication to the event.
With strong performances, personal bests, and meaningful milestones, it was truly a Royal Run in London for the RUNColumbus community.
And the weekend racing continues.
Many teammates will be back on the starting line tomorrow morning at the Ohio State 4 Miler, where runners and walkers will once again Finish on the 50 inside Ohio Stadium.
From London to the Horseshoe, the miles keep coming.
Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
