The Ohio State 4 Miler Recap

Even a day later, many in the RUNColumbus community are still smiling about Sunday’s Ohio State 4-Miler.

With more than 13,000 runners and walkers taking part, the event once again brought together Buckeye fans and fitness enthusiasts for one of the most unique race experiences in the region.

Participants made their way through the streets around The Ohio State University campus before heading into the iconic Ohio Stadium—where runners and walkers crossed the finish line on the 50-yard line inside the ‘Shoe.

For many, that moment inside the stadium is what makes the race so memorable. After a scenic four-mile tour of campus, participants enter the tunnel, emerge into the stadium, and complete their race on the same field where Buckeye legends have played.

Team RUNColumbus was well represented throughout the morning, with teammates gathering before the start, spotting each other along the course, and celebrating together at the finish.

Some runners were chasing fast times, while others were simply soaking in the experience. Either way, it was another great reminder of how special race mornings in Columbus can be.

From London on Saturday to Ohio Stadium on Sunday, it was a weekend full of great racing, community, and shared miles.

And if yesterday’s smiles were any indication, the memories from finishing on the 50 at the ‘Shoe will stick with many of us for a long time.

Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
