As we close the chapter on an incredible 2025 season, we want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback through our end-of-season survey.
The survey was conducted at the conclusion of the 2025 RUNColumbus Race Series, and all responses were anonymous, allowing participants to share honest reflections on what worked well and where we can continue to grow.
What We Learned
The results confirmed what we feel every race weekend: RUNColumbus is powered by community.
Across the survey, participants consistently highlighted:
- A welcoming, inclusive environment for runners and walkers of all paces
- Motivation and accountability that comes from being part of a team
- Pride in earning awards that recognize consistency and commitment
- Strong engagement with team events, tools, and celebrations
Satisfaction levels were exceptionally high, with the vast majority of respondents rating their overall experience as Good or Excellent and indicating they would recommend RUNColumbus to a friend.
Awards & Recognition Matter
Feedback around medals, medallions, and bonus awards was overwhelmingly positive. These tangible symbols of effort and consistency continue to be an important motivator throughout the season and a meaningful way to celebrate accomplishments at year’s end.
Events & Engagement
From race participation to the Awards Celebration, engagement remained strong throughout the season. Interest in additional team-focused events — including an early-season kickoff — reinforces the value of creating opportunities to connect beyond race day.
Opportunities for Growth & Improvement
While feedback was overwhelmingly positive, respondents also shared thoughtful insights on where RUNColumbus can continue to grow.
As the series expands, one recurring theme is the need for additional space at team events, particularly the Awards Celebration. Attendance and enthusiasm continue to increase, and feedback suggests that larger venues, additional seating, and improved flow will help ensure the experience remains comfortable and enjoyable for all.
Participants also expressed appreciation for clear communication and noted opportunities to continue refining how key information — such as rules, awards, and logistics — is reinforced throughout the season.
We view this feedback as a positive reflection of growth. It helps us plan intentionally as RUNColumbus evolves, ensuring that the experience scales alongside the community that makes it special.
