Amy is a new member of the 2026 RUNColumbus Race Series community. She began running in February 2025 at age 51 and has already made incredible strides—completing many 5K races, a Quarter Marathon, and preparing for her first Half Marathon this October at the Nationwide Children’s Half.
Her favorite distances are the 5K and Half Marathon, and she’s excited to continue building endurance while working on her pace.
Reflecting on her experience so far, Amy shared:
“I did the ALS and Licking Heights 5K this summer and they were such well-organized races. The Licking Heights 5K was the absolute best 5K I have participated in so far. RUNColumbus runners were so nice and friendly.”
