Running Against ALS 5K, 15K, and 15K Relay

The Third Annual Running Against ALS 5K, 15K, and 15K Relay brought a powerful mix of purpose and performance to the start line. Founded by teammate Erica, this race honors her former partner in the Columbus Police Department, who lost his battle with ALS. Every stride taken today supported ALS Ohio and families facing this devastating disease.

Team RUNColumbus showed up in force—and left with loads of hardware! The 15K, part of the 12-race Challenger Series, drew a large contingency of RUNColumbus athletes who swept nearly every award.

Personal Bests and Personal Cheers

A special shoutout to Kathy T., who crushed her 15K time with an 11-minute PR and to Kathy H., who also earned a 5K PR and captured finish line photos while cooling down!

Thanks to Marcus and Keat for coming out to support our teammates on course.

We race for community, competition—and today, for a cause close to our hearts. Thank you, Erica, for creating this meaningful event.
