The 2FGR Run for Inclusion delivered one of those evenings that reminds us why we love this sport.
On a beautiful spring night in Dublin, runners and walkers gathered to support organizations that create opportunities, foster belonging, and champion inclusion for individuals with disabilities. The atmosphere was welcoming, the weather was nearly perfect, and the event once again demonstrated the power of a community coming together around a meaningful cause.
Team RUNColumbus was well represented throughout the evening, with teammates participating across both the 10K and 5K distances. Congratulations to our age group winners: Billur, Patrick, and Barbara in the 10K, and Polly, Tracy T., and David T. in the 5K. Their performances were a great reflection of the dedication and consistency they bring to their training.
But as inspiring as the results were, the spirit of the event stood out even more. Families, friends, runners, walkers, volunteers, and supporters all shared the same course and finish line, creating an atmosphere that felt bigger than a race.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who participated in making it such a memorable evening.
Let’s RUNColumbus TOGETHER.
